Washington, DC – The Syrian American Medical Society mourns the victims of the horrific attacks in Paris and Beirut, and the ongoing violence in Syria. SAMS condemns in the greatest terms these inhumane attacks against civilians, and stands with the survivors, families of victims, and communities in the wake of attacks.
Dr. Tarakji, President of SAMS, said, SAMS stands with every victim of the Paris attacks. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families in this grave time of mourning.
Residents of Douma, Syria held a vigil for Paris on Saturday. Douma is one of the many areas of Rural Damascus that has been under siege for the last three years.
